Coming back from a quick trip out of town, I can see why they're trying to bring their services to the mainland. Shipping logistics are hard enough when you're not packing in 90% of the U.S. population that lives in a landlocked state. While using third-party logistics providers like DHL and FedEx certainly saves time, you're still stuck with the type of shipping and logistics that aren't exactly convenient either. Travel logistics in America will eventually have to change in a big way. People want to fly more than ever, which means some of those trips will need to be as much as 50-60 minutes from the door to the runway. This doesn't mean that air travel is dying, it means the carriers have to continue to find new ways to keep our customers happy with shorter trips that just mean more time to enjoy our destinations and the time we get back on the ground and have lunch.
