UPS is considering increasing its business by 20 percent in response to increasing freight demand from e-commerce companies.
The world's biggest freight carrier is planning the bulk of the plan through its UPS Express Network Solutions (ENNS) division in a push to boost its growth by creating more new routes for freight shipments.
"It's going to be a combination of new routes and connecting new forwarding locations," UPS Chief Operating Officer Richard Perera told Reuters, referring to business coming through UPS' network.
