The Diploma of Theater of Operations Technology is a diploma-level theater of operations technology program. This program prepares applicants to work in the operating room as a competent and trusted technologist among other members of a health service team under the supervision and guidance of senior physicians and patient care technicians. You will learn how to use many diagnostic devices, e.g. ventilators, monitors, defibrillators, C-arms, etc. and the ability to assess patients. The training also focuses on the knowledge and skills necessary to oversee infection control policies and procedures in the operating room.
