The Ghats of Kashi are famous all over the world for their unique shade, where even today there are centers of spirituality, religion and philosophy. Kashi was named Varanasi because of being situated between two rivers. The most famous and the first ghat here is Banaras Assi Ghat from where the Ganges enters Banaras, so this ghat is the purest of all ghats. Here the form of Ganga is also clean and free from pollution.
